10/10 Experience! I’ve been travelling to Malaga for 15 years, and in the past five years many of the usual car hire companies have been disappointing – either with hour-long waits at collection or unfair damage charges on return. This was my first time using CarGest and the experience was excellent. The transfer from the airport to car collection was smooth, with no waiting around, and the car options were great. The service from start to finish with this company is amazing. Always efficient, FRIENDLY, great fleet of cars, and no hidden fees. Even though they are off site from the airport, it's super quick to get the shuttle, I rarely have to wait more than 5-7 minutes, and the same for coming back. The processing of the cars is super quick. When I've used other onsite airport car hire companies I have on occasions waited hours to be seen and always trying to upsell you on insurance. My experience with this company was very positive :) It was my first time ever renting a car abroad. I booked a basic Seat Ibiza with full insurance on their website, but I ended up getting a Nissan Qashqai with an automatic transmission and almost full equipment for the same price. Absolutely fantastic. After making the online reservation, you receive a map showing where their shuttle buses stop, and they take you to the pick-up location. When picking up the car, no one pressures you into buying any extra add-ons — you simply pay for what you ordered. The price is exactly the same as the online one. The car was perfectly clean, and everything worked flawlessly throughout all 11 days of my rental. Returning the car is just a very short distance from the pick-up point, across the intersection. The drop-off process was very straightforward — the staff member simply checked that the car started and then took it to be washed. A few days later, the hold on my credit card was released and the money was returned. No issues at all. Based on my personal experience, I can definitely recommend them :)
Once again, a fabulous experience at Cargest Malaga Airport! I have used them many times now, and have yet to be disappointed.
